The writing group picks back up for fall, six in the evening at the Ambler branch. Twice a month, free, and a low-pressure place to read work out loud.

Apple butter stirred in copper kettles on the Mennonite Heritage Center grounds, plus historic craft and farming demonstrations, children's games, and food for sale: sausage sandwiches, fresh scrapple, ground cherry pies, apple dumplings. Rain or shine, no pets.
Oktoberfest 2026
Participating bars and restaurants pour $6 fall beers and ciders with seasonal snacks, no ticket needed. Live music between stops, stein-holding contests, and free mini pumpkin painting for kids.
