Playdoh monsters in the program room for preschoolers and younger. Registration opens three weeks ahead and fills. Free and run by the library, on Ardmore Avenue near the Suburban Square lot.

Apple Butter Frolic
Apple butter stirred in copper kettles on the Mennonite Heritage Center grounds, plus historic craft and farming demonstrations, children's games, and food for sale: sausage sandwiches, fresh scrapple, ground cherry pies, apple dumplings. Rain or shine, no pets.
Oktoberfest 2026
Participating bars and restaurants pour $6 fall beers and ciders with seasonal snacks, no ticket needed. Live music between stops, stein-holding contests, and free mini pumpkin painting for kids.
