Middle School Writing Club (Ages 11-14)
Ages eleven to fourteen, second Monday of the month. Prompts, short stories, poetry, comics and time to share work. Supplies are on hand, though bring a notebook if you have one. Space is limited.

October is fire prevention month, so the Lansdale volunteers open the firehouse doors. Look over the apparatus, meet the crew, and pick up safety tips that are worth remembering.

Ten rounds of bingo over breakfast at the Cock 'n Bull, with door prizes and a fashion show from the Village shops. Doors open at nine, not a minute earlier.
Behind the Scenes Tours: Fonthill Castle From Tower to Crypt
Ninety minutes off the normal route through Henry Mercer's concrete castle: tower stairs, hidden passageways, the rooms the standard tour skips. Steep and dark in places, age fourteen and up.
