Drop the kids at the Y for games, a craft, pizza and a movie, then go do something else for three and a half hours. Through age 12, siblings welcome, registration required.

Ability Art: Creative Creations
Painting, collage and drawing for ages 15 and up with special needs, ninety minutes of studio time and a treat at the end. Twenty six dollars for members, thirty five otherwise.
Friday Night Socials: Trivia and Bingo Night
Adults 18 and older with special needs get bingo, trivia, pizza and a dance party to finish. Held monthly at the Lower State Road branch, registration required.

Labor Day, and the street stays closed. Four blocks of Gay Street without cars, restaurant tables out in the road, and the shops on either side open for the holiday.
Last Day of Daily Mini Golf at Alverthorpe Park
The mini golf course at Alverthorpe Park runs every day through Labor Day, then drops to weekends only for the rest of September. This is the last everyday round of the year.
Festival of Fountains at Longwood Gardens
The fountain season runs to the end of September, and the gardens stay open on Labor Day Monday when most of Chester County is closed. Closed Tuesdays. Timed tickets sell out on holiday weekends.
