Bridges Out of Poverty Workshop
A four hour KACS workshop on what causes poverty, how different life experience shapes outlook, and practical ways to lower barriers. Registration required.
Imagination Library Children's Book Club and Storytime
Stories plus a book club for the smallest readers, Friday mornings in the children's area. Half an hour, free, and it lands right before the farmers market sets up across town.
Maker Skills Series: Learn to Solder
Saturday morning soldering basics in the community makerspace: iron, flux, and a small board to take home. Free, registration required, and no prior experience assumed.

Fall Fest Weekend
The farm switches to fall mode for the weekend: hayrides, the corn maze, apple picking and cider donuts out of the bakery. Runs weekends into November.
Public Arts Program Guided Walking Tour
Free docent walk through the outdoor sculptures scattered around town, part of a rotating program running since 2003. Registration encouraged, and it covers ground on foot.
Gay Street Open-Air Market
Four blocks of Gay Street close to cars so restaurants push tables into the road. Walk down the middle of the street, eat outside, and browse the shops on either side.
