A fall festival on the grounds of a 1774 Germanic log home: hands-on history, local artists and food. The rededication ceremony runs first at ten, the festival from eleven to four.

An Evening in Tuscany at Morgan Log House
Dinner outdoors on the grounds of the 1708 house: antipasto platter, artisan bread, then a pasta entree. Fifty dollars a seat, two hours, and seats go before the day.
Kids Makerspace
Free two-hour build session for kids on the farmstead. Story first, then a hands-on project, anything from simple machines to recycled art depending on the month.
Tavern Night at Morgan Log House
Bar trivia inside a colonial house, with live music, food, drinks and a raffle. Rounds mix history and pop culture. Tickets sell in advance and the room is not large.

Thirty acres of flea market, farm stands and antique dealers going since the 1870s. Gates at 7am and it thins out by midday, so come early and bring cash.
Executive Scramble
Nine simulated holes before work with a rotating cast of local business people. Ninety minutes, no handicap required, and the point is the conversation between shots as much as the golf.
Autumn Avian Adventures: Murmuration & Migrations
A guided morning walk across Stroud's meadows and woods hunting migrating songbirds, raptors and waterfowl. Bring binoculars. Registration goes through Natural Lands, and the preserve itself is free.
