October is fire prevention month, so the Lansdale volunteers open the firehouse doors. Look over the apparatus, meet the crew, and pick up safety tips that are worth remembering.
His and Hers Bingo
Bingo night in the firehouse hall, with prizes split between his and hers baskets. Doors at six, first game at seven, and the proceeds go toward the volunteer company's equipment.

Thirty acres of flea market, farm stands and antique dealers going since the 1870s. Gates at 7am and it thins out by midday, so come early and bring cash.
Executive Scramble
Nine simulated holes before work with a rotating cast of local business people. Ninety minutes, no handicap required, and the point is the conversation between shots as much as the golf.
Coffee, Cookies, and Prayers at the Polls!
The church is a polling place, so the sanctuary stays open all election day with coffee and cookies for anyone passing through. A quiet seat if you want one.
