Monthly science journal club at the library. One member brings a paper, everyone reads it beforehand, and the hour goes to arguing about what it means.

Gay Street Open-Air Market
Four blocks of Gay Street close to cars so restaurants push tables into the road. Walk down the middle of the street, eat outside, and browse the shops on either side.
St. Philip International Food Festival
Fourteenth year of the parish's two-day food festival, cooked by the congregation, with church tours and children's activities alongside. Clearview Road sits just outside the borough, a few minutes from Main Street.
