Lecture: Toasting the Tories, The Doan Gang and Bucks County Taverns
Two Mercer Museum historians come down to Washington Crossing to trace how Bucks County taverns fed, funded, and sheltered the Doan Gang, the county's most notorious Loyalist outlaws. The Sunday talk runs 1:30 to 2:30 and pairs neatly with the Doan exhibition up in Doylestown.
