GET Pancakes
Five hours of pancakes at the Haverford Avenue café, from eight in the morning until one. GET runs on a mixed staff of adults with and without disabilities, and pancake days are its busiest.

First Friday at GET Café
The café holds the doors open into the evening for the town's First Friday, two hours of Haverford Avenue with something in your hand. Free to drop in.
Watercolor Workshop at GET Café
The second Tuesday sitting of the watercolor hour with Jan McFeeley, an hour this time rather than ninety minutes. Supplies are out, walk in and take a seat.

The Parlour Reading Series: Haunted Halloween Shorts
Local playwrights send in short horror and Halloween plays, and the picks get staged as readings around a bonfire setup. A cheap night of brand new writing.
Coffee & Connections
An hour of low key networking over coffee from a chamber member roaster, aimed at business owners and nonprofit staff. Walk-ins welcome if there is room, though registering ahead is safer.
Behind the Scenes Tours: Fonthill Castle From Tower to Crypt
Ninety minutes off the normal route through Henry Mercer's concrete castle: tower stairs, hidden passageways, the rooms the standard tour skips. Steep and dark in places, age fourteen and up.
