Rent at Bucks County Playhouse
The 1996 rock musical about a year among downtown artists runs five weeks at the 1790s gristmill-turned-theater on the Delaware. Rock of Ages and Irving Berlin's Holiday Inn round out the Playhouse season into the new year.

New Hope Celebrates books a block for the Playhouse production of Rent, with the evening built around it. Five thirty start, running to ten.

The middle Sunday of the month brings Jamming Joe out to the patio, second of three September dates. Walk in, sit outside, and the acoustic season closes at the end of the month.
Gay Street Open-Air Market
Four blocks of Gay Street close to cars so restaurants push tables into the road. Walk down the middle of the street, eat outside, and browse the shops on either side.
