Storybook Sprouts Story Time
A half hour of stories for the smallest listeners on a Friday morning. Thirty minutes is the whole idea, short enough that nobody comes apart before the last page.
Canasta at the Library
Cards at noon on Fridays in the library community room, two hours and no charge. Bring nothing, the decks are already there and so are the regulars.
Homeschool STEM
An hour of hands on science built for homeschooled kids, midday on a Friday when the library is quiet. RSVP required, and it runs at the Swartley Street building.

Four bands on a Saturday at the Nail. Food is served until 1am and drink specials stop at 11, which sets the shape of the night.
Bingo After Dark: Book Edition
An evening bingo at the firehouse with books on the prize table. The department has not posted a start time yet, so call before you drive over.

Stand-up headlined by John Moses, the Toronto comic who works dark and honest and spares nobody. On the Colonial's stage rather than in a bar back room.
