A half hour of stories for the smallest listeners on a Friday morning. Thirty minutes is the whole idea, short enough that nobody comes apart before the last page.
Canasta at the Library
Cards at noon on Fridays in the library community room, two hours and no charge. Bring nothing, the decks are already there and so are the regulars.
Homeschool STEM
An hour of hands on science built for homeschooled kids, midday on a Friday when the library is quiet. RSVP required, and it runs at the Swartley Street building.

A monthly evening that puts business owners, nonprofit staff and neighbors in one room with appetizers and a local cause to support. Running since 2023, at a different host venue each time.
Rice's Market (Tuesdays)
Thirty acres of flea market, farm stands and antique dealers going since the 1870s. Gates at 7am and it thins out by midday, so come early and bring cash.
Coffee & Conversation at Char & Stave
The Ardmore Business Association takes over Char and Stave on the second Tuesday morning of the month. Coffee, breakfast and an hour of talking shop with other owners.
