People's Light opens its 2026/27 season with Suzan-Lori Parks' Pulitzer winner Topdog/Underdog, September 16 through October 11, with Akeem Davis starring and Amina Robinson directing. The September 23 performance is a $30 Community Curtain night, and Thursday shows end with a post-show discussion.

Rachmaninoff and the Tsar
Hershey Felder plays Rachmaninoff at People's Light from August 28 to September 20, performing the composer's own piano works live inside the drama, with Jonathan Silvestri as Tsar Nicholas II. The run is capped at 25 performances and every one ends with a Q&A led by Felder himself.
