A Saturday morning pulling invasives and tending meadow on the 571 acres along the East Branch. Two and a half hours, tools provided, no experience wanted.
Autumn Avian Adventures: Murmuration & Migrations
A guided morning walk across Stroud's meadows and woods hunting migrating songbirds, raptors and waterfowl. Bring binoculars. Registration goes through Natural Lands, and the preserve itself is free.

Rice's Market (Tuesdays)
Thirty acres of flea market, farm stands and antique dealers going since the 1870s. Gates at 7am and it thins out by midday, so come early and bring cash.
Coffee & Conversation at Char & Stave
The Ardmore Business Association takes over Char and Stave on the second Tuesday morning of the month. Coffee, breakfast and an hour of talking shop with other owners.
