AOY Art Center
Artists of Yardley runs this nonprofit art center on Mirror Lake Road, where most classes run six weeks, meeting once a week. Summer art camp is the most popular program on the calendar — weekly half-day sessions for ages 5 to 16, June through August.

A one-day outdoor art festival on the Patterson Farm grounds with bands and a food truck. Ten to four, open to the public. No pets.

Beautifully Broken: Kintsugi Golden Joinery Workshop
Mend a ceramic bowl the Japanese way, with the cracks turned into gold seams instead of hidden. Bowl included, modern materials, ages 18 and up. Bring a small box to carry it home.

Beginner Crochet-Hats
First of three Tuesday sessions with Meredith Laden. Single and double stitches, working toward a finished hat by mid October. Ages 18 and up, no prior crochet needed.
Solo Show: Marta Jaramillo
One artist, three days, in the old farmhouse gallery on the Patterson Farm. Doors run noon to five Friday through Sunday, and opening Fridays at AOY usually carry a six to eight reception.
Creative Release: The Art of Letting Go
Blind contour drawing, bilateral drawing and pastels made in response to music, all aimed at shutting off the part of your brain that judges. Two hours, no experience needed, ages eighteen and up.
ART FUSION: Ink, Fish, and Flow
Two Japanese techniques in one afternoon: floating ink across water for marbled prints, then inking cast sea life and pressing it to paper. Three hours, ages eighteen and up, twelve dollar material fee.

Mend a broken ceramic bowl with a golden seam instead of hiding the crack. The bowl is provided, modern materials stand in for lacquer, and the result is decorative only. Ages eighteen and up.
Kinusaiga: No-Sew Fabric Mosaic Workshop
Build an eight by twelve inch picture out of fabric scraps pressed into a scored board, no needle involved. Bring your own scraps if you have them. Ages eighteen and up.
ART FUSION: Ink, Fish, and Flow
The Sunday morning run of the marbling and fish printing workshop. You leave with a stack of one of a kind prints and inky hands. Three hours, ages eighteen and up.
Creative Release: The Art of Letting Go
The Tuesday afternoon version of the drawing workshop built around giving up control. Two hours of blind contour, music response pastels and other exercises meant to loosen a stiff hand.
Fine Crafts Show
A weekend of handmade work in the gallery on Mirror Lake Road, landing the weekend before Thanksgiving. Doors noon to five both days, which is the whole window, so do not stroll in at ten of.

Eclipse Center for Creative Community
Lansdale's community art center on Vine Street: two contemporary galleries with no admission fee, a boutique of fine art and handmade craft, and private studios with 24-hour access. Watercolors meet Thursday evenings; the kids' learn-to-draw class runs Tuesdays after school.

Touchstone Art Gallery
Everything in this East Afton gallery is Nancy Allen's own work — kiln-fired glass, jewelry, drawings, all one of a kind. Allen was also the catalyst for the Artists of Yardley nonprofit, so a good chunk of the borough's art scene traces back to her.
The Sewing Room
A sewing studio on the lower level at Homestead Road, running classes for kids and grown-ups who want to actually learn the machine. Bring a project or start one from scratch.
