Cynwyd Heritage Trail
A 2-mile multi-use trail running from Cynwyd Station to the Manayunk Viaduct along an unused stretch of SEPTA's R-6 tracks, with separate paved and soft-surface paths. Three trailheads, and leashed dogs are welcome (8-foot leash max).

More than 900 acres of woods, meadows, and trails wrapped around a 19th-century ironmaster's mansion just north of town. Chambers Lake handles the boating and fishing, mansion tours run many Sunday afternoons, and the campground opens weekends April through mid-November.
