The Locktender's House
The restored locktender's house at Lock 11, run by the Friends of the Delaware Canal as a small museum of how mule-drawn boats moved cargo through here for a hundred years starting in 1832. The lock out front was rebuilt to working order, the first one running on the Delaware Canal in more than 50 years.

Storytelling here leans on West African Griot tradition instead of wall text, and you can catch the exhibits weekend afternoons or by appointment during the week.
