More than a dozen local authors set up tables inside the zoo for three hours on a Sunday morning, signing and selling between the animal habitats. Included with zoo admission.
Free Admission on Labor Day at Elmwood Park Zoo
The zoo drops admission to nothing for every guest on the Monday holiday, ten to five. Registration ahead is preferred, and a free day at a zoo is a good argument for arriving early.
Nature Explorers: Native Species at Elmwood Park Zoo
Forty five minutes on Pennsylvania's own mammals, birds and reptiles, ending with a native animal brought out to meet. An adult stays with each child, and zoo admission plus five dollars applies.
