October's book is Michelangelo and the Pope's Ceiling. The nonfiction group meets Thursday from 7:00 to 8:30 among the stacks, in a shop that sells coffee and cookies alongside the books.

Poetry Group
The monthly Sunday poetry circle, open to every age and skill level. Write, read, listen, respond. Two hours in a bookshop full of secondhand stock, which is a decent place to end a weekend.
Fiction Book Club
September's novel is Trespasses, set in Northern Ireland during the Troubles. This is the Wednesday afternoon sitting, the quietest of the four the shop runs on this title.

The farm switches to fall mode for the weekend: hayrides, the corn maze, apple picking and cider donuts out of the bakery. Runs weekends into November.
Gay Street Open-Air Market
The last weekend of the season for the street closure. Four blocks of Gay Street without cars, restaurant tables in the road, shops open on either side.
His & Hers Bingo
A bingo with the prize baskets split between his and hers, run by the fire department on Main Street. No start time posted yet on the department calendar.
