FallFest at Shady Brook Farm
Shady Brook's festival field opens for the season with wagon rides to the pumpkin patch, a corn maze, and 25-plus attractions on one admission, running through October 30. After dark the farm flips to the Eerie Illuminations light show, a moonlit maze, and bonfires, with live music on weekends.

Summer unWINEd Concert & Fireworks Finale
Close out the summer concert series at Shady Brook Farm with the unWINEd season finale, featuring a high-energy cover band and a fireworks display to cap off the night. Gates open at 5 p.m. with music starting at 6:30. Grab food and drinks on site — craft beer, Rose Bank Winery wines, and specialty cocktails — or bring a picnic blanket and settle in for the last summer hurrah. Admission $20.

Labor Day, and the street stays closed. Four blocks of Gay Street without cars, restaurant tables out in the road, and the shops on either side open for the holiday.
Last Day of Daily Mini Golf at Alverthorpe Park
The mini golf course at Alverthorpe Park runs every day through Labor Day, then drops to weekends only for the rest of September. This is the last everyday round of the year.
Festival of Fountains at Longwood Gardens
The fountain season runs to the end of September, and the gardens stay open on Labor Day Monday when most of Chester County is closed. Closed Tuesdays. Timed tickets sell out on holiday weekends.
