Jenkintown Festival of the Arts

The Jenkintown Festival of the Arts is Sunday, September 27, 2026, from 1 to 6 p.m., rain or shine. Seven blocks of downtown Jenkintown around Leedom Street and Greenwood Avenue turn into an outdoor art gallery for the afternoon, Town Square included. The Jenkintown Community Alliance puts it on, and all proceeds go back into the JCA's work in the borough. The 2026 exhibitor list is up: ceramics, glass, jewelry, painting, wood, fiber and prints, with food booths like Olde City Kettle Corn set out among the artists. The food court has eight vendors: Cousins Maine Lobster, Sherri's Crab Cakes, MoMos of Tibet, Humpty's Dumplings, The Little Sicilian, Hardy Funnel Cakes, Bake'n Bacon and Mama Smoothies. Two stages carry music from 1 p.m. on. The Main Stage opens with The Stage Company's children's theater group at 1 and School of Rock at 1:30, then Guilty Pleasure's rock covers at 2:30, the Dirk Quinn Band's jazz at 3:45 and York Street Hustle's soul set from 4:30 to close. The Johnson Street Stage has its own sets from 1 to 5:45, an indie-folk singer, an acoustic duo and a solo guitarist among them. There is a dance stage and a kids zone too, though neither had details posted yet. Raffle baskets from local businesses go for $3 a ticket or two for $5, sold at the festival.
