State Street closes to cars and the restaurants push tables out onto the pavement. Parking in the Linden Street garage is free during the event. This is the last one of the season.
Holiday Light Parade
About a hundred lit floats, marching bands, tractors and dance groups roll down State Street, and Santa lights the community tree at the end. Crowds run near twenty thousand, so come early for a spot.
