Kids ages 8 to 12 make pipe cleaner and yarn pumpkins at the library's monthly art club. Registration is required and the room is small, so sign up early.

Afternoon Chair Yoga
Cassie Quigley teaches a 45-minute chair yoga class in the Community Room, third Monday of the month. Seated poses first, then standing work with the chair as support.
Poetry Reading & Writing Circle
Third Monday evenings, poets of any level read work on a set theme and bring original poems to share. Christi Marshall leads it and space caps at ten.
Morning Book Club
One book a month, discussed over an hour in the library's Reading Room. Copies are at the desk, so stop in and pick one up. Registration required.

Witches of Narberth
Downtown turns into a costumed scavenger hunt, with kids tracking down witches stationed in the shops and collecting treats along the way. The hunt runs the afternoon and ends when the prizes run out.
Book Sale Bag Sale at Downingtown Library
The last stretch of the Friends' fall book sale turns into a bag sale, all through regular library hours. Closed Sunday the 25th. Proceeds go to the library.
