More at Malvern Farmers Market
Malvern Farmers Market
The Malvern Farmers Market runs Saturday, September 19, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Burke Park, at Warren Avenue and Roberts Road in Malvern, its corner every Saturday. Most producers sell on the day and many also take pre-orders with a Friday deadline; Wyebrook Farm (pasture-raised beef and heritage pork) and Wingswept Acres (pasture-raised poultry and eggs) close theirs at 10 a.m. Friday. The stand list is posted fresh each week; a recent one had naturally grown vegetables and herbs from Full Circle CSA, mushrooms from Fungus Aurelius, sourdough and English muffins from Good Girls Bakery, malt-boiled NYC-style bagels from Street Cart Bagels, Mexican food from Taste of Puebla, baklava, honey, chocolate, flowers, and coffee from Hill Road Coffee Roasters and the Mayday Coffee truck, which matters at 9 a.m. Good Girls on the Go makes breakfast sandwiches to order every Saturday, and Back to Earth Compost takes scraps on the first and third Saturdays, which covers the 19th: $5 a five-gallon bucket, no meat, bones or dairy. The free Movement at the Market class on the 19th is Full Body Sculpt & Strength with Logan Dawson at 10 a.m., low-impact, all levels; bring a mat and water. The night before, Friday, September 18, the same park hosts the Craft & Mercantile night market, 5 to 8:30 p.m., with live music, food, drink and 35-plus makers. Check the market page before you go; the stands for the 19th post by Monday, September 14.
