Sean A. Hughes Memorial 5K and Fun Run
A neighborhood 5K and one-mile fun run in memory of the late Lower Merion High School principal. It starts at Arnold Field, winds through the surrounding streets and ends with awards at the memorial site between the high school and the district offices, where Phase One construction gets unveiled. More than 500 runners and walkers turned out last year. Registration runs $35 for the 5K and $25 for the fun run, with a free shirt for anyone signed up before November 1.

Girls' Lacrosse Fall Clinic at Arnold Field
Lower Merion High School players run a Sunday lacrosse clinic for kindergarten through eighth graders. Bring your own stick, goggles and mouthguard. It is a fundraiser for the team, $50 a session.
