Newtown Witches' Ride
The first Witches' Ride through the streets of Newtown Borough, starting at 10 a.m. sharp. It costs $15 to ride, and part of the money goes to Hands Holding Hearts, which supports kids and families going through grief.

Newtown Halloween Parade
Costumes through Newtown Borough on the Saturday before Halloween, with a costume competition you register for ahead of time. Run by the Borough Recreation Board. No rain date, so watch the parade site if the weather turns.

Thirty acres of flea market, farm stands and antique dealers going since the 1870s. Gates at 7am and it thins out by midday, so come early and bring cash.

Nine simulated holes before work with a rotating cast of local business people. Ninety minutes, no handicap required, and the point is the conversation between shots as much as the golf.
Bird Walk at Peter Wentz Farmstead
An early walk across the farmstead fields and nature trail with the county environmental educator, looking for whatever came through overnight. Free, but email ahead to register.
