Firebird Build Days: Saturdays
The twenty-foot bird that burns in December gets built by hand in Reservoir Park, weekend after weekend from September. Turn up, pick up a hammer, no experience required. Near the Dayton Street entrance.
Firebird Build Days: Sundays
Same build, second day. Volunteers frame the Phoenix in Reservoir Park from ten until the light goes, every Sunday of build season. Skilled carpenters and first-time hammer holders both welcome.
