Borough Trick-or-Treating
Quakertown holiday
Quakertown Borough's official Halloween trick-or-treat hours run 5 to 8 p.m. on the 31st, so porch lights go on across town for those three hours.
When:
Sat, Oct 31 · 5:00 PM–8:00 PM Where: Quakertown Borough (townwide)
Around the same time
Rice's Market (Tuesdays)
New Hope market
Thirty acres of flea market, farm stands and antique dealers going since the 1870s. Gates at 7am and it thins out by midday, so come early and bring cash.
Executive Scramble
Malvern community
Nine simulated holes before work with a rotating cast of local business people. Ninety minutes, no handicap required, and the point is the conversation between shots as much as the golf.
Bird Walk at Peter Wentz Farmstead
Lansdale other
An early walk across the farmstead fields and nature trail with the county environmental educator, looking for whatever came through overnight. Free, but email ahead to register.
