Used Book Sale
November's long Thursday sale. Hardbacks a dollar, paperbacks and DVDs fifty cents, picture books a quarter, and the shelves get restocked between sales.

Thirty acres of flea market, farm stands and antique dealers going since the 1870s. Gates at 7am and it thins out by midday, so come early and bring cash.
Bird Town Bird Walk on the Pennypack Trail
A morning bird walk with the Liberty Bird Alliance on the third Tuesday of the month at Lorimer Park in Abington. Free, run by the county parks environmental educator's office.

Nine simulated holes before work with a rotating cast of local business people. Ninety minutes, no handicap required, and the point is the conversation between shots as much as the golf.
