Hot Ones Wing Eating Contest
Ten wings, ten progressively hotter sauces, in front of a crowd at Kildare's. This is the third annual contest. It costs $45, there is a waiver, and finishers compete for prizes and a shot at Eagles tickets.

General knowledge quizzo every Monday from nine to eleven at the Gay Street pub. Fish and chips are ten dollars all day, which is most of the reason to show up early.

Beer pong tables go up at ten on Wednesdays and stay up until two. Dollar wings all day beforehand, old fashioneds eight dollars.

Music trivia at the Gay Street pub on Thursdays, eight to ten, and karaoke takes the room straight after until two. Orange crushes are six dollars all day.

Veterans and active-duty military plus their families tour the historic village, the Thompson-Neely house and grist mill, or climb Bowman's Hill Tower at no charge. Bring a military ID.
