Saturday Morning Bird Walk at Silver Lake
Free walk at half past seven, which is when the fall migrants are actually moving. Loaner binoculars if you need them. The center sits on Bath Road in Bristol, about fifteen minutes below Yardley.

The fire company's first golf outing raises money for equipment and training, with a shotgun start at eleven and dinner at Flip and Baileys to follow. Sponsorship spots and foursomes are open to anyone who wants to help.

Half-off day at the Friends' fall book sale. Everything in the large meeting room drops in price and the doors stay open until seven.
