Hey, neighbor. Thanks for being here. Ton of good live music this weekend all across the burbs. Anyway, this intro I’m just going to continue blabbering about what this newsletter might be until it comes in a format I think will stick around for a while. As always, would love feedback if you have anything to say. - I think that the website does a great job at surfacing events. Because of that, I think this newsletter might become less of an event listing and more of a “news on events” type letter. Do you think that’s a good idea?
- I’m thinking about whether it’s worth doing an update a few times a week. I’ll have a format for that in a week or two to see if there’s any interest. I’m thinking it’d be like just good news, not news. Little write ups on events, community things, music, business happenings. Never political stuff or crime because that’s not really fun for me.
- Note on the above, right now this is just a little side project for me so trying to justify whether i am to spend the time writing a few times per week.
- Obviously this has very small reach right now, but I do feel it might have some room to grow (a reason I want to do more than just list events).
