Small Business Saturday
The national shop-local day lands on Butler Avenue, where most storefronts are somebody's own business. Ambler Main Street lists it, though the shops set their own specials and hours for the day.

Second Friday in Ambler
Butler Avenue does its block party thing from 6 to 9, with live music, food, late shop hours, and kids' activities up and down the strip. September's edition lands on the second Friday instead of the first, same street, same routine.
Ambler Oktoberfest
Ambler Oktoberfest runs Friday, October 2 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday, October 3 from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Ambler Main Street's calendar lists it as a two-day major event with kids' activities, and that is all it has posted for 2026: no address, no admission price, no rain date. Ambler Main Street's own account of the 2025 edition had Butler Avenue closing at 2:30 on the Friday to set up two beer gardens, more than 15 food providers and over 70 specialty vendors, with bands on the Cavalier stage both days and the Phillies on a giant TV truck in the Cavalier lot. Parking is the real question. Ambler Main Street's parking page counts 247 spaces in the three borough lots (Lindenwold at Butler, Cavalier at Butler, and Butler at the train tracks) plus 146 on-street spaces within a block of downtown, and says nothing about festival-day changes, so leave yourself a margin: in 2025 that Cavalier lot held the TV truck. Meters take a dollar an hour for up to two hours and are always free after 6 p.m., so a Friday-night spot costs nothing once you find one. The same page notes Ambler has the busiest train station on the R5 line, if you would rather skip the hunt. On Saturday the farmers market opens at 9 a.m. at Butler and Maple, two hours ahead of the festival, and runs to noon, so a full day out here builds itself.
Ambler PA Rebel Crawl
A guided walk between Ambler bars with actors playing Revolutionary era characters along the way. Three hours, twenty one and over, ticketed. The organizer has not named the stops yet.
