The governor's mansion gets decorated for an early 1900s Christmas and opens for tours on the hour and half hour, running from this day through January 3. Last tour of each day starts at 3 p.m.

Fifteen years running now, spread across the grounds of a governor's country estate: one-of-a-kind crafts, food and gifts, with the mansion open for free tours on the half hour.

Porch Performance: Edgar Allan Poe
A Poe performance on the mansion porch, outdoors and open to all ages. Bring a chair or a blanket. Sponsored by the Friends of Pennypacker Mills, about ten minutes up Route 29.

Gingerbread Competition & Display
Gingerbread builds go on display around the Village from the Friday before Thanksgiving into January, judged in several categories. Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
Winter Group Show
The gallery's biggest show of the year opens, hung with work from a long list of regional artists and makers. Last year's edition ran all the way into February, so there is time after opening day.
Holiday Kickoff Weekend
Three days that flip the Village into holiday mode, with the brick paths lit and sixty shops stocked for gift season. Author signings run at the Lahaska Bookshop both weekend afternoons.
