A ninety minute walk through Nature's Sanctuary, the natural burial section, as the fall color starts. Staff talk through what is blooming, seeding, and going dormant.
Pints & Plots: Brew Masters
Three hours tracing the brewing families buried at Laurel Hill, the lager barons who built the city's beer trade. The tour covers both grounds and starts on the Bala Cynwyd side.

Gay Street Open-Air Market
Labor Day, and the street stays closed. Four blocks of Gay Street without cars, restaurant tables out in the road, and the shops on either side open for the holiday.
Last Day of Daily Mini Golf at Alverthorpe Park
The mini golf course at Alverthorpe Park runs every day through Labor Day, then drops to weekends only for the rest of September. This is the last everyday round of the year.
Festival of Fountains at Longwood Gardens
The fountain season runs to the end of September, and the gardens stay open on Labor Day Monday when most of Chester County is closed. Closed Tuesdays. Timed tickets sell out on holiday weekends.
