A 5K run and 2K walk through downtown on Thanksgiving morning, third year running, put on with the West Chester Downtown Foundation. Strollers are fine, pets are not, and it goes ahead rain or shine.
Newtown Turkey Trot 5k in Honor of Officer Brian Gregg
Thanksgiving morning 5K through the borough, second year running, held in memory of Newtown Borough officer Brian Gregg. Proceeds go to the Bucks County Heroes Scholarship Fund. A kids' 5K goes off at the same time.
Story Time with Miss Erin
Miss Erin reads to a room of small kids for a full hour on Thursday mornings at the Swartley Street library. The autumn run goes every week from the first of October into late November.
