25th Remembrance of 9/11 at the Garden of Reflection
Twenty-five years on at Pennsylvania's official 9/11 memorial. In past years the ceremony opened at 8:30 with the bell tolled nine times for the nine township residents lost.
Remembrance in Light Ceremony
The night ceremony returns for the 25th anniversary: candle lighting, music, and the fountains rising as it gets dark. It ends with people walking up to the glass name panels.

Gay Street Open-Air Market
Labor Day, and the street stays closed. Four blocks of Gay Street without cars, restaurant tables out in the road, and the shops on either side open for the holiday.
Last Day of Daily Mini Golf at Alverthorpe Park
The mini golf course at Alverthorpe Park runs every day through Labor Day, then drops to weekends only for the rest of September. This is the last everyday round of the year.
Festival of Fountains at Longwood Gardens
The fountain season runs to the end of September, and the gardens stay open on Labor Day Monday when most of Chester County is closed. Closed Tuesdays. Timed tickets sell out on holiday weekends.
