Farm stands with closing dates, patio bars with October hours, and a disc golf course someone drove two and a half hours to play.
August has two weeks left and the suburbs know it. The water ice stands are counting down, the farmers markets have October circled, and the patio bars list their hours as April through October. Here is where to spend the last warm evenings before the sweaters come out.

A working 103-acre dairy farm with Chester Springs Creamery scooping ice cream right on the property, plus reservation-only farm tours in season and a fall pumpkin stretch when the fields open on weekends. Vibe: last-chance ice cream at the farm. A Google reviewer called the ice cream worth the drive and the fall hayrides a photo op.

Free Movies in the Park on summer Friday nights at 7, plus the township's Community Day every August. The 2026 movie run leans hard elementary-school, with Spongebob on the screen August 14. Vibe: free outdoor movies, Fridays in August. They hand out free popcorn and hot dogs while the screen goes up, which is hard to beat for a Friday night price point.

Free live music on Wednesday nights all summer, 7 to 9 in Lenape Park, with food trucks parked alongside and a lawn to spread out on. Opened in 2022 and where Perkasie heads once the weather turns warm. Vibe: Wednesday night lawn concerts. A 70s and 80s cover band pulled hundreds to a Wednesday night lawn, per the Reporter. That is the energy Perkasie brings to a school night in August.

The oldest and largest flea market in Bucks County, 30 acres, 400-plus vendors, roughly 8,000 shoppers a week. Doors open Tuesdays and Saturdays at 7 a.m., March through December. Vibe: 30 acres of flea market, closing in December. A Google reviewer called it a cute market with great atmosphere and felt lucky they hit a Tuesday. Thirty acres of vendors will do that.

Gallery exhibitions and a free outdoor sculpture park open during daylight hours. The lawn hosts a WXPN-affiliated summer concert series and the Holiday Art and Fine Craft Fair each November. Vibe: outdoor sculpture park and summer concert lawn. Wedding reviewers on The Knot keep calling the sculpture park beautiful and peaceful, which is not how most people describe a parking lot art installation.

Sushi and small plates up front, and the closest Doylestown gets to a downtown nightclub once the kitchen winds down. In summer the patio bar runs to 12:30 on weekends. Hours listed April through October. Vibe: patio bar that packs it in when October hits. OpenTable reviewers single out the patio and the espresso martinis, which tells you what people are actually doing here on a warm Friday.

Sunday mornings, June through October, on Babylon Road. Produce, flowers, sweets, and handmade goods from vendors set up indoors and out. Leashed dogs welcome, and monthly winter markets carry it through the cold season. Vibe: Sunday morning market, October closing bell. Every Facebook reviewer recommends it, which is either a small sample or a genuinely happy market.

110 acres with two ponds, three miles of walking trails, a 250-year-old beech grove, and disc golf. Open sunrise to sunset, every day. Vibe: 110 acres of last-summer-evening walks. A disc golfer drove two and a half hours and called it one of his favorite courses ever on UDisc. The 250-year-old beech grove probably did not hurt the review.

A rooftop bar above Fayette Street with cocktails, brunch, and live music on the calendar. Conshohocken from a few floors up, drink in hand. Vibe: rooftop drinks before the sweaters come out. Main Line Today called the rooftop views killer, which is the kind of word a magazine uses when it does not want to say go before October.

A 165-acre certified-organic farm with a store open Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays: organic produce and eggs, 100 percent grass-fed beef, all raised on the property. Membership gets you 15 percent off year-round. Vibe: organic farm store, peak harvest season. Rodale Institute profiled the farm's regenerative practices, and a MapQuest reviewer just said the produce is fresh and the staff is friendly. Both are correct.
