The Den
Thousands of new and used LPs, with every used record cleaned, sleeved, and graded before it hits the bins. Fresh crates land several times a week, and yes — they built a scroll-and-listen app called DenTok so you can dig from the couch.
Electric Avenue Music
Record store on East Gay Street with crates of new and used vinyl. The staff will talk you into a record you didn't come in for.
Farley's Bookshop
Bucks County's oldest bookstore, open on Main Street since 1967, and still a proper warren — new and used titles wedged into every nook, a vinyl rack, and a deep kids' section. A group of longtime booksellers bought it in 2022 and kept the shelves exactly as overstuffed as they should be.
The G Spot Modern Retro Thrift Boutique
Hand-picked vintage and designer fashion, vinyl, and antiques — 'no sifting required,' as the shop puts it, because they've done the digging for you. Owner Gigi opened her first shop in Center City at 19 and ran the original G Spot in Austin before bringing it home to Market Street.
Hop Fidelity
Record store on West Market Street with a name that puns hops into hi-fi. Flip through the crates, beer in hand.
Love Saves the Day
A vintage shop that started in New York's East Village in 1966 and has held down Main Street for more than 25 years. Come for the 1800s-through-1970s clothing, the mid-century toys and dolls, and a deep bench of Elvis records and memorabilia the owners will happily nerd out over.
Matones Music
A record store on East Main that locals rate through the roof. Vinyl to dig through, with the kind of stock that turns a five-minute stop into an hour.
May 23 Clothing and Music
Clothing and records under one roof on W Gay Street, which is exactly the kind of combination downtown West Chester does well. Flip through the vinyl, then try on the rack by the window.
Newtown Book & Record Exchange
A used-book and vinyl exchange on State Street where you trade in a bag of old paperbacks or records for store credit, then dig back out with something better. Closed Mondays and Tuesdays, so save the crate-digging for the back half of the week.
Siren Records
A real record store, open since the cassette era. New vinyl up front, used bins that reward patience, and a staff happy to argue you into something better.
Vinyl Chickie
A record shop on Mt Carmel Avenue, in Unit 2 of the same building as a gift shop and a fitness studio. Vinyl is the whole business.
