Bar Sera
A restaurant on East Elm doing pizza, plates, and a proper cocktail list under one roof. Easy enough for a weeknight, dressed up enough for a date.
Cellar Pub and Wine Bar New Hope
A Main Street wine bar that pours only Crossing Vineyard, the winery down in Washington Crossing, so every glass on the list stays Bucks County. Open Thursday through Saturday, and yes, there are wine slushies.
Ferry's End
The bar inside Ferry Market, pouring beer, wine, and canned cocktails you carry out to a food-hall table instead of drinking in place. Happy hour lands twice a day, noon to 2 and 5 to 7, so a drink can meet whichever vendor stall you wandered into.
Frost Doylestown
A New York-style wine bar and martini lounge in the Historic District, small plates built for sharing across the table. The kind of low-lit room that turns a Tuesday into an occasion.
Local Wine & Kitchen
A wine bar Stefan Gagliano opened in 2014 on the west end of Lancaster Ave, where cheese and charcuterie keep going until close. Wine Wednesday tastings pour five glasses with a small plate buffet.
LoCali Wine Lounge
California wines on Market Street: Napa reds, coastal whites, and a schoolteacher among the owners. The $25 deal gets you three pours and a pizza from Pizza 316.
Nektar Wine Bar
Twenty-eight wines by the glass pour from the Cruvinet, backed by one of the deeper whiskey lists in Bucks County and eight rotating taps. It sits right across Mechanic Street from the Bucks County Playhouse, which makes it your stop before the curtain.
Nissley Vineyards Wine Shop
Nissley Vineyards' new Skippack Village outpost, stocking the Lancaster County winery's full lineup, with seats indoors and out for drinking a glass on the spot. Closed Mondays and Tuesdays.
Pag's Wine Bar
Forty-plus wines by the glass in a climate-controlled cellar, brick and woodwork overhead, a fireplace for winter and a patio for summer. Vinyl night runs Wednesday through Saturday starting at 6.
R Five Wines
A small winery and tasting room on Lancaster Avenue pouring its own reds and whites by the glass or the bottle. An easy after-work stop right in the middle of town.
The Rabbit Hole
A wine bar just off Fayette Street on West 6th Avenue, poured by the glass and built for lingering. The kind of low-key stop that turns one drink into two.
Stone & Key Cellars
A wine and hard cider tasting room built around a live-edge bar, with a wine club and a house specialty: bicycle delivery of a bottle to any nearby BYOB that can't pour its own. Trivia and music bingo keep the tasting room busy on slower nights.
Sweet Amelia's at R Five Wines
A wine bar on East Lancaster Avenue, the Downingtown home of Kennett Square's Sweet Amelia's inside R Five Wines. Small plates to go with whatever's open by the glass.
Teca West Chester
The name is paninoteca crossed with enoteca, and the menu follows suit — Italian tapas and panini on one side, an award-winning wine list on the other. Four event spaces can swallow anything from a table of 10 to a party of 200.
Towne Book Center & Wine Bar
Collegeville's independent bookstore since 1990 — it opened as The Little Professor — now 8,000 square feet on Market Street and, since 2017, the first bookstore in Pennsylvania to pour wine alongside the books. Come for a paperback, stay for a glass.
Turks Head Wines
A California winery with a West Chester tasting room: the wines are made and bottled in Napa, then poured on Church Street alongside a chef-driven menu. Members of the CRU Club get a private wine lounge of their own.
Vino Veritas Wine Room & Pinnacle Ridge Wine Club
The Souderton tasting room for Pinnacle Ridge, the Kutztown winery, poured by the glass on North Main. A small wine room for a slow evening, not a loud bar.
