The Philly suburbs do not stop booking live music just because it is Sunday. This afternoon and tonight, seven rooms from Lahaska to Sellersville have something on stage, and the range is wider than you might guess: a free tasting-room set at one, a John Denver matinee at another, and a jazz fusion drummer closing the night at the 1894. Here is the day's calendar, sorted by start time.

Sunday afternoon music in the Nissley Vineyards tasting room at Peddler's Village, one to four, local players and wine by the glass, no cover to walk in.

Three hours of live music upstairs in the loft at Rose Bank Winery, one thirty to four thirty, free to walk in and the tasting room handles the rest.

Puck Live runs a two-hour karaoke fundraiser for the Next Step Programs at two, then hands the stage to School of Rock Doylestown student bands playing famous festival sets from five thirty on.

A John Denver tribute matinee at the Uptown! Knauer Performing Arts Center, four o'clock, Rocky Mountain High and Annie's Song and the rest of the catalog, early enough to be home for dinner.

Drummer Simon Phillips brings his jazz fusion band Protocol 6 to the Sellersville Theater at eight, doors at seven thirty, and the room is as close to a city jazz club as the burbs get. "Really cool place to see some great music," Mark says on Google.
