French BYOB on Butler Pike — coq au vin and crème brûlée without a bridge crossing. Bring the good bottle; the kitchen deserves it.

Slate Bleu
Doylestown's dinner-only French bistro on South Main, with a deep beer and wine list and a kitchen that closes at 9, so book like a grown-up. The on-site parking is free, which downtown reads like a typo.

French country cooking out of a converted farmhouse at Spring Mill, poured into the same BYOB since 1978. Bring a bottle of red, order the long way, and leave Sunday brunch for another visit.
