Amphitheater at Lenape Park
Free live music runs here on Wednesday nights all summer, 7 to 9 in Lenape Park, with food trucks parked alongside and a lawn to spread out on. It opened in 2022 and is where Perkasie heads once the weather turns warm.
Arcadia University Theater
Arcadia's campus theater on South Easton Road, home to the university's performing arts program and the student productions it stages during the school year.
Ardmore Music Hall
The concert hall on East Lancaster Ave, and the reason plenty of people first drive into Ardmore after dark. Long-timers still call it 23 East, after the club that had the room before.
Brandywine Valley Symphony
A community orchestra based in Kennett Square, with a season of classical concerts. Catch a performance if that's your kind of evening.
Bucks County Playhouse
A converted 1790 grist mill on the Delaware that's been staging shows since 1939, where Grace Kelly made her professional debut and Robert Redford premiered "Barefoot in the Park." Summers still mean full-scale musicals like this season's South Pacific and Rent, with dinner on the Playhouse Deck over the river before curtain.
The Colonial Theatre
The 1903 movie palace where The Blob attacked the audience in 1957, still packing three screens with indie, classic, cult, and horror films plus live shows. Bridge Street's marquee glow, and the whole reason Blobfest exists.
Forge Theatre
A community theater a block off downtown, running five productions a year plus Script Tease, a free staged-reading series for local playwrights. The 2026-27 lineup marks its 65th season.
Goodhart Hall
Bryn Mawr College's performance hall on the Merion Ave side of campus, a stone building from 1928. Concerts, dance and student theater, much of it open to the public with a ticket.
Kennett Flash
A nonprofit listening room off Sycamore Alley where the crowd actually shuts up for the band. Expect singer-songwriters and touring acts on a stage you can practically reach.
Keswick Theatre
The big live room of the Old York Road corridor, in Glenside just past Jenkintown. Buddy Guy, Gary Clark Jr., and Marc Maron are all on the 2026 calendar.
McCoole's Arts & Events Place
The events half of McCoole's, a Main Street room booked with live music, comedy nights, and community theater. A few doors from the Red Lion Inn, so dinner and a show can be one walk.
Medley Arts Center
A community arts organization based on the second floor of the Parish House on West Lancaster Avenue. Its calendar of classes and performances lives on the site.
Midway Arts
An arts building on East Chestnut with working studios and a gallery. Also the room where a lot of Coatesville's shows and openings happen.
Montgomery Theater
A professional theater company on North Main, staging plays and musicals in a room where every seat sits close to the stage. It's why downtown Souderton has a curtain time.
The New Hope Winery
A winery on Lower York Road with a tavern set in a mid-18th-century barn. The Note, its 250-seat music room, keeps a steady calendar of live acts and tribute bands.
People's Light
Professional theater on a seven-acre campus with two stages, the 140-seat Steinbright and the 340-seat Leonard C. Haas, the latter built into a historic stone barn. Classes, student matinees, and the Fern and Fable restaurant round out the year-round operation.
Playcrafters of Skippack
Community theater in an old barn on Store Road, converted for the stage after the company moved out from Lansdale in 1956. Playcrafters has been at it since 1949 and now runs six shows and 60 performances a year.
The Royal, Where Music Lives
A live music venue on South Easton Road in Glenside, and the name tells you the plan. Check the schedule before you make the drive, since what's on stage changes night to night.
Sellersville Theater
The 325-seat room behind the ST94 name marks 1894, the year on the building, and books national touring music, comedy, and theater. Grab dinner next door at the Washington House before the lights drop.
Univest Performance Center
An outdoor amphitheater in the Park at 4th, run by the borough's parks department, where the Sounds of Summer series has drawn over 12,000 attendees a summer since 2017. The 2026 lineup runs July through September, the Beach Boys and Air Supply included.
Uptown! Knauer Performing Arts Center
Broadway-style theater, opera, jazz, comedy, and film on one High Street stage, running since 2017. Performing-arts classes for preschoolers through adults fill the gaps between shows.
Wolf Performing Arts Center
A performing arts theater on Montrose Avenue, a few blocks off Lancaster. Programming runs by season, so the schedule is the thing to check before you go.
