Half of New Hope's dining rooms predate the country and the other half hang over the Delaware. We ranked both halves.

Nozomu Sushi
A dinner-only BYOB sushi bar on Mechanic Street, named best in Bucks County two years running since it opened in 2022. The special roll changes every month; the reservation you need Friday through Sunday doesn't.
Martine's RiverHouse Restaurant
Caramelized day boat scallops and wild boar ribs in a 1752 building whose deck hangs straight over the Delaware. The mussels have held their spot for years, and the bar keeps pouring past midnight, seven nights a week.
The Salt House
Pub cooking with ambition, spread through a 1751 stone building with a tavern fireplace downstairs and a library lounge up top. Ask for the library room when you want to hear your own conversation.
Italian Cucina
House-rolled ravioli that runs from five-cheese to a Roman cacio e pepe, plus a Rigatoni Bolognese that packs beef, veal, lamb, pancetta, and sausage into one bowl. It's a BYOB on Stockton Ave small enough to call ahead, and Luigi's tiramisu is why you under-order the pasta.
Landmark Tavern at Logan Inn
New American plates and a real cocktail list in the front tavern of an inn that's been running since 1727, one of the oldest still going in the country. Angle for the fireplace in January.
Odette's Steakhouse
Dry-aged steaks and a raw bar on the riverbank where Broadway's Odette Myrtil ran her cabaret from the '60s into the early 2000s. The 18-ounce bone-in River House Strip runs $89, and the room does its best to make that feel reasonable.
New Hope Spice Lover
Avinash and Khushbu Singh pull tandoori chicken and dal makhani from a 900-degree clay oven just off Bridge Street, with heat levels that climb to X-HOT if you ask. It's BYOB, so walk something back from Triumph before you sit down.
The Burgerly
Smash burgers on a brisket-chuck-short-rib blend, griddled at a counter on South Main by Mark McLean, who left Wall Street for the flat-top in 2021. Order the namesake with extra-sharp American and house pickles; Tuesday is locals' night.
Karla's Restaurant & Bar
European dishes in a warren of small, art-filled dining rooms, open since 1978 and outlasting most of Main Street in the process. Weekend brunch is the move: Bananas Foster French toast, a deep bench of Benedicts, and a busy little bar to hold you through the wait.
Stella of New Hope
